Statement regarding the PPWR Regulation
We are closely engaged with the requirements of the PPWR – the EU Regulation 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste – and recognize the importance of ensuring full compliance across our products, processes, and supply chains. The new regulation represents a key milestone in achieving greater transparency, sustainability, and circularity in Europe – and we take this responsibility seriously.
Our goal is clearly defined: the PPWR will apply from 12 August 2026, and we will fulfill our obligations in full compliance with the regulation from this date onwards.
To achieve this goal, we are already working on:
- Regulatory analysis — systematic assessment of all relevant articles, obligations, and transition periods.
- Technical implementation — adaptation of processes, data structures, and product information in line with the new requirements.
- Supply chain integration — close coordination with our partners to ensure data quality, transparency, and reliable documentation.
We see the PPWR not only as a regulatory requirement, but also as an opportunity to further develop our products and processes in a future-proof and sustainable way.
