GEBHARDT Achieves Bronze Status in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating

GEBHARDT has successfully participated in the globally recognized EcoVadis corporate rating and has been awarded the Bronze medal. This places us among the top 35% of companies assessed worldwide.

EcoVadis aims to promote sustainable business models and enhance transparency in global supply chains. As a dynamic rating system, EcoVadis evaluates companies based on clearly defined sustainability criteria and provides transparency regarding their environmental, social, and ethical practices. The methodology of this independent assessment is based on international sustainability standards (including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000). The assessment covers 21 indicators across the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

For GEBHARDT, participating in the EcoVadis certification was a deliberate step to highlight our sustainable business practices and consistently expand our sustainability goals. Through this globally established rating, we underscore our credibility in sustainable business practices while meeting the growing demands for transparency and accountability in our business environment. The rating took into account the following criteria, among others:

• Environment: Energy consumption, emissions, and waste management

• Labor and human rights: Fair working conditions, employee health and safety, and equality

• Ethics: Anti-corruption, information security, and fair business practices

• Sustainable procurement: Responsibility throughout the supply chain

The results achieved in these areas led to the award of Bronze status. GEBHARDT will continue to build upon this international standard in the future to transparently demonstrate our sustainable business practices and continuously improve them. For us, this award is both an incentive and a commitment to further strengthen our sustainability efforts and actively contribute to the responsible management of global supply chains.
