13 new trainees and their parents immersed into the GEBHARDT world for the first time

Last Thursday, 13 new trainees and their parents visited the GEBHARDT starting Day to get to know their future workplace and their trainers. During the event, the training contracts were ceremonially handed over.

The family company GEBHARDT, with an above-average high trainee rate of 12 percent, clearly sets the focus on transparency and trust at the starting day. "We want to motivate the parents to contribute to the training. This allows them to help their children reach the educational goal", says Roland Sturm, human resources manager. Not without reason we can find the company with 188 years of company history where it is today: "We train our specialists and managers as responsible characters with broad expertise. An identification with the company is essential", explains Katerina Scheffler, training manager. The starting day, in addition to the job interviews, forms the first cornerstone .

At the starting day, the future trainees learn about GEBHARDT, the course of their training and get to know their trainers and colleagues. During the subsequent get-together, these and former GEBHARDT trainees will be available for questions.

Claudia Schönberger, apprentice as an industrial saleswoman in the second year of apprenticeship, tells the new trainees about their consistently positive experiences: "I especially like the friendly working atmosphere and that you may also assume responsibility as an apprentice."

In September 2017, a total of 13 trainees and one dual student from the field of industrial engineering are going to start their professional career at GEBHARDT Logistic Solutions GmbH. You can now apply for the start of the training program in 2018.
