GEBHARDT as expert for load carrier safety
Safety first: GEBHARDT as expert for load carrier safety
On Friday, May 24 2017, GEBHARDT has informed about 100 representatives from logistics and transport on the subject of safety and protection of cargo during transportation at the 3rd Swiss Cargo Protection Symposium in Arbon.
The family business GEBHARDT develops and produces storage and transport solutions in industry and trade. Safety and quality have a high priority here: The meaning of load carrier safety ranges from the protection of cargo, to compatibility with loading and securing devices for the means of transport, as well as safety during assembly and transport to material safety. The in-house test- and technology center checks the charge carriers and their material in the form of mechanical and thermal tests. Cooperation with official testing institutes such as TÜV Süd and DEKRA is essential.
At the symposium, which has already been organized for the third time by the company Knaus training competence center for heavy goods transport, current developments and innovations in the field of load securing were presented. The representatives from logistics and transport were able to convince themselves that they not only benefit from the high quality of GEBHARDT load carriers: the holistic safety and process approach of GEBHARDT means that accidents at work in the daily handling of storage and transport solutions are a thing of the past. In addition, the cargo is optimally protected during logistical processes, goods damage is avoided and material loss costs are reduced. The selection of the materials used ensures a long service life and thus low investment and maintenance costs.
CEO Dr. Andreas Sachs explains: "The issue of load securing is becoming more and more important. As a process consultant, we develop reliable and high-quality solutions with our customers. The in-house test center as well as external institutes constantly check and certify the quality of our products. This ensures the customer is on the safe side."
